Have you ever played Mario Kart before? Items are a key part of the game play. If you don't like them having such a large impact, choose courses like Rainbow Road.
Maybe you should have learnt how to counter Mario Strikers Charged "cheap moves" as well.

Nintendo's just a group of weak idiots.
|
The weak idiots who brought us games like Zelda: TP and Super Mario Galaxy? I'm not sure if we're talking about the same company.
Of course there are issues with the system, but I have fun with it anyway. If you're continually frustrated go ahead and sell it.

mmm I didn't care for Mario Galaxy actually. Well I'm really confused. I'm not really sure what's gonna happen in the future. It looks good but I always find myself disappointed. Bottom line is that buying games costs money and if I'm not enjoying it than it really isn't worth it. The games are fun at times and really frustrating at other times. I don't really know what to do.
EDIT: Yeah I've played every Mario Kart except the DS version and my Dad bought the first Mario Kart when I was a kid. Super Mario, Mario Kart and DK were like part of my childhood I've had nintendo ever since. So yeah I might give up on Video games for awhile. I'm not sure.

If i'm not having fun then why should I keep it, if i keep getting let down why should i buy more games? Will there be a game that will convince me to keep it? I don't know, will there?

Thats just stuff from Nintendo and I didn't even mention all the stuff they plan on bringing us in terms of their other games like Wii Music, Disaster Day Of Crisis etc.
Then theres Sadness, the Conduit and what Iwata himself promised in terms of better third part offerings coming later this year. Hardrive and Headset are rumored to be on the way (headset could be a lot sooner than we think) and all will be revealed in July at E3.

All of those reasons are why I am keeping my Wii, but also picking up a 360 soon.
Animal Crossing and its possibilities alone could keep me interested in Wii still, but all those other titles only add to it.

Why should you keep your Wii?
1. SSBB
2. SSBB
3. 1 & 2
4. Just go out and buy an Xbox 360 or a PS3 and keep your Wii. At least wait till E3 and see if anything interests you. If not, go ahead.

He already said he doesn't like SSBB because it's online sucks completely. I have a PS3 and Wii, and I know you said you thought you would be done with games, but if you were to get another system, PS3 and 360 don't disappoint with online gameplay. Although PS3 has better exclusives this year IMO...

I am pretty much in the same position as you(hence my thread about selling my wii).
I think that the wii had potential as it had some games with some really fun wiimote integration(Godfather wii being the best one IMO), but the games they have now have such little creativity in the control scheme that they might as well just use a regular controller. I would much rather have a 360 which has much more grade A games.
Don't get me wrong I like the wii, it has its good games. And I'm sure there are many more great games which are going to come out for it, but it just seems like its not as high quality as the other systems.
And yes, Xbox Live>>>>>>>>>wii online, I don't care if it costs money, the difference is well worth it.

Exactly some people think it's nice to be able to use the gc controller and the motion controls but I see it as a disadvantage to those that decide to stick with the wii remote. The games should be about using motion sensing, that's what makes it better than the other consoles but how can you use it if everyone else will clobber you with a gc? I do like SSBB but the online play is so disappointing that i will never be able to play you guys out of the US. PS3 wouldn't be too bad b/c of the blu ray disc something to think about...
I may just wait till E3 or at least I'll sell it around Christmas.

Like a lot of people I sold my wii to get a 360, the wii lasted me abour 3 months and my 360 has lasted me so far around 9 months and I'm not bored of it at all. Just sell your wii if you don't see any games you fancy coming up anytime soon.

If your having issues playing Wii games your just gonna get owned left and right trying to play on another system..lol
The complaint about controlls is super lame, the other systems haven't changed the controller setups sence they came on the market. Atleast Wii gives you the option to choose different setups in alot of games and for better or worse atleast they changed it from the same thing over and over again with only improved graphics each gen.
Still go try them all out then decide, none of them will make you 100% happy unless you only like 1 type of gaming to begin with.
