Sick and tired of the obscurely low amount of reputation blocks below your username?
Sick of never receiving adoration private messages every week?
All you need to do is follows these steps, and you will soon be the 'bee's knees' of Wiichat
Step 1. Your Avatar and Signature represent you!
A picture of your crotch will earn you more respect than a picture of Daniel Craig.
Step 2. Post late at night! The later you post, the cooler you are!
(This may not apply to members who live in different timezones)
Step 3. Use good english! Major spelling mistakes are not tolerated on the internet, it's
serious business.
Step 4. Use capital letters in your thread names! Look at mine! People see that and go, wow, professional, I respect that guy. Note that having capitals on words such as 'to' or 'on', just don't work, they'll think you're trying too hard.
Step 5. Double post on purpose, then change the second post to "Sorry, please delete this," just to show people that you know how to use the edit button!
Step 6. Your post count is a indication of how big your willy is. You dont want a small willy
like BigWilly's do you? Of coarse spamming threads with posts is not cool, yeah sure you might get a high post count, but the only thing it will represent is the size of your willy on your HEAD.
Step 7. Make your posts interesting! A simple 'kthxbai,' may get the job done, but is no way as cool as 'Wow i love you Dbomb3, thanks for helping me, wow, wee!' Thats true coolness and respect right there.
Step 8. Pretend you know whats going on! Jumping into a thread and laughing at a joke you dont understand is what makes people say, "Wow! He's laughing at my joke! He must have really understood it! He is cool!"
Step 9. Use abbreviations where adored. AIC, BFD and CYM are classics.
Here is a good place to start
Step 10. Be yourself! Unless you're the kind of guy that no one likes, then be CantGetAWii, cause everyone loves him.
Step 11. Make references to other people on Wiichat for example, "Yeah, that Eagles guy, I heard he's pretty cool." Knowing the people you want respect from is important!
Step 12. Spam exclamation marks !!1!everywhere!!1 if you know what you're talking about!!!1!1
Step 13. If someone teases you, search for a mad comeback on wikipedia or 4chan, then copy and paste it. Walls of text may not be read, but they make people think you know what you are on about.
Step 14. Have a good sense of humour, but don't overdo it. As always, the internet is
serious business.
Step 15. Make references to
popular internet culture such as 4chan, rickroll, mudkipz, and shoop de woop, even though you have no idea what any of it means.
Step 16. Post ocassionally in the Board Games Section. Even if getting your post count up is super important
(as quoted by darkprinny), show people that you are cool and that you will post something for nothing.
Step 17. Strive for the "reputation beyond repute" status! Make it your goal in life! Everyone knows life gets easier when your reputation is off the charts.
Step 18. ALWAYS respect the Moderators,
but being risky is cool too. You may want to throw a light insult or two to joke around with them. People will be like "Man hes standing up to the mods! I want to be just like him!" personal experience here
Step 19. If someone asks for your age, always say 18. Mitch2025 may be cool, but he's no where near as cool as me, cause i'm 18, or AM I...
Step 20. The final and most important one! Be kind to the girls, as there are very few on the site. If you are in their good books, you are in everyone's good books.
There you have it. Don't you just feel cooler and more respected already? Go on! Write them down on a checklist and give them a try!
