Movie Themed Fancy Dress!

First of all I wanted to make this thread because Jay and I have been invited to a movie themed fancy dress party, and I have NO idea who to go as, but while I'm at it I thought I might as well ask who would/what you go as if you went to a fancy dress party. Or if you have been, what did you go as then?

Now so far my only idea has been Lara Croft, just something like this:

I thought it would be a pretty easy one to do as well, and I wont have to spend that much money on a costume I'm probably only going to wear once.

So yeah, I'm open to any suggestions (within reason!) just remeber it's a movie themed fancy dress. XD

Well it depends the lines of fancy. You could go as Marilyn Monroe. Or something starwars maybe. I know you have thought about Pirates I'm sure. Dorothy from Wizard of Oz? You could really go alot of ways with this.

I went to a fancy dress party a few years back. I went as Vincent from Pulp Fiction, and my girlfriend went as Mia.

It was fun to say the least.

I'd give anything a go really.

Something not to obscure, but not something everyone would turn up as. I had thought of Marilyn Monroe but I have black hair, so I'd either have to wear a wig or..? Lol.

I was fancying one of the super hero costumes. Like the Wonder Woman one or something, I could get away with that for a movie party yes?

Ye, although the costumes are usually quite expensive.

You could go as Poison Ivy... If you had a redish wig...
