Haven't really got a favourite artist, but I like pretty much anything except "emo" music and heavy rock.

Same here. I really look for some catchy choruses. Heavy Metal Rock is pretty much out of the picture. I cant stand all that screaming!

I'm into punk rock and ska.

Occasionally, if I'm in the mood I'll listen to classic rock.

Metal is generally out of the picture, though.

arctic monkeys i like more to the point my favourite band is oasis i also like the single naive by the kooks, coldplay and daniel powter i like but i hate hip hop and rap sometimes its good but lets be honest songs like pussycat dolls beep is just for bimbos who feel good about themselves after working out an inuendo hehe

I really like almost anything...rock, emo, screaming, some rap, but my favorite would be acoustic/piano acousitc stuff I really like the kick back music. i dont like country, spanish, or techno (some is ok).
