Has anyone unlocked Petey?

Just like the title says, has anyone actually unlocked Petey yet!?! I consider myself relatively good at the game, well - barely ever lose online, but I've been trying for ages now to beat the Strikers cup. Haven't got past the final yet despite winning the group every time.

If anyones done it then with what team setup? And what captain? It all just seems mega hard to me!

You can use a mii to use as an account, and you can use as many mii's as you want. *note that each mii has a different friend-code.
