The Beatles are one of the most well known bands of all time. Years after the death of John Lennon and George Harrison, the Beatles have finally raised from the dead… in your living room. While the character customization comes up a little dry, having only hairstyles and clothing available to be changed, removing this is a good decision. You wouldn’t want to see any of the Beatles in a KISS jacket or with a Fender Strat Double-Neck.
The Story Mode is like reliving the Beatles’ entire career. The Cavern Club to the Ed Sullivan Show to Beatlemania. The Stages are from real stages that the Beatles are performed at, as some songs have the Beatles in a strange environment, usually colorful. Some songs reportedly have variations when you play them over and over. The thing about The Beatles: Rock Band is it is not for non-Beatles fans. They won’t get an emotional kick the way that Beatles fans do. If you want it for the difficulty, then this game is going to be a dust collector. Overall, if you love the Beatles, you will love this game.
