what kinda game is it? EX. shooter,RPG ect..

I got this game for Christmas and it is pretty fun. Occasionally I felt some the ways of solving trials were kind of off the wall so it was a bit confusing at times. The game is essentially dialogue choosing and solving things based off examination and memory. Its also a pretty short game but over all its fun.
