I lost my adapter for my normal DS, and I can see only DS Lite adapters for sale, will the Ac adapter for the DS Lite work for the normal DS? BTW I'm buying this off walmart.com.

DS Lite chargers will not work with the original DS =/. If you're lucky you can find one from EBgames, but other then that you have to buy it from an online store or Ebay.

You can use a GBA SP charger if you cant find an original ds one anywhere
