No, Nintendo would never ever do that. They just keep creating new adventures instead of remaking the old ones (unlike Final Fantasy. HAR HAR, right?)

Well, not exactly. They remade Red and Green, (apparently), for the GBA. They could remake a Gold/Silver for the DS.

Yeah, FireRed and LeafGreen, forgot about that. Good point. They could easily do the same thing to Gold and Silver, but I don't see it happening. Red and Blue (Green occurred only in Japan, never came west) started the generation and the trend, it was more of an honor to them than anything else I reckon.

Yeah, but Gold and Silver were both some of the best Pokemon games out there. Check youtube.

I absolutely agree. They were arguably my favoroite. Ever. I just don't think Nintendo would agree, but if they were re-released, I would totally buy it.

Yup... the only thing however that's even rumored is the newest game that's supposedly coming out September, Platinum, the third game of the D/P

I've been saying this for a while now, Pokemon ShineGold and SteelSilver would be great... they were basically two games in one originally, with the added size of DS cards, they could be THREE!
But I think Nintendo will only do remakes of the original...
