Today, i loath the ds.
Today was take your child to work day, and god forbid a kid actually wanting to go to school. So i went to my fathers work place, and it was boring, so i got my DS out and started playing pokemon leaf green. but then, it was as if god struck my hand with invisible lightning. i drop my DS. At first i think Oh well, i drop it every now and then and everythings been fine. But sometimes, the screen freezes. It happened this time, so like normal i restart the DS. But i decide to play mario kart DS. and the worst thing happened. . . . .
All of my characters were gone, my friend codes were gone, my karts were gone, my missions 1-7, gone. All that was left was the original things. . . and now, i weep for 3 months worth of play time. . . .

Yes, it does. . . -Sniffles- the only thing that doesnt even near make up for it is that i caught a moltres and zapdos. . . . but that doesnt match up to rob or boney parts man.. . .

That is why you have to attach the wrist strap to the DS...
So that it wouldn't fall and erase your data

One of my friend's kids dropped their DS into the watery grave that is a toilet .. .. .. .. be thankful that yours only fell on solid ground.

No, blame your father for having such a boring job!
Edit: I don't think it was the DS at all. A drop can re-align the strips, but MK wasn't even in the machine. Are you sure you didn't place the cart near a magnet?

Yeah i should blame my dad.
No my MK was inside of the slot whilst playing pokemon. And then when i dropped it i dropped it while MK was still inside (i was playing pokemon leaf green, advance version)

ouch, ive had worse, i just completed Pokemon Diamond (100%, all pokemon seen, caught, (exept the hacked ones like arceus,shaymin,darkrai) and then, i DROPPED my Ds Lite ( it had a warranty from EB Games (aka Gamestop in some countries/towns) it fell down the stairs (kinda metal ones) and when i freaked out and ran to the bottom, i picked it up...
The top screen came off, and i got Diamond out, went to my best friends house, used his ds, My game was RESET, 164:04 WAS WASTED
I thought my life was at an end...
(luckily i got a new ds for $20 because of the warranty)

Once I was playing Pokemon Emerald and I dropped my GBA on the groud. I restarted it, But the GBA was acting like it wasn't there. So I played it on my DS... And it did the same thing. So, I erased the WHOLE GAME, not just the data.
I spent $30 on that game.
