What games to get?
just bought a DS in readiness for my holiday in 2 wks.
i have a few games, mainly the brain training ones, super mario, mario kart, mortal kombat.
what games would people recommend for me to sit have a play whilst on holiday.
i dont like games that are too intensive, i like pick up put down games that you have a quick go of whilst your waiting for your girlfriend to put her makeup on etc.
thanks in advance

I like brainless games like Tetris, Meteos, Magnetica and the like for keeping me occupied on a boring plane ride or while stuck waiting for something. I hear Professor Layton is good too! We have it but my husband is obsessed and I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
Super timekiller = the sudoku games that come with Brain Age!
Have a lot of fun on your vacation!

I would suggest WarioWare: Touched! since it consists of mainly mini-games that will keep your attention for as long (or short) as you want. Look into it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding a game.

I can tell you what game not to get:
Nintendogs.
Your girlfriend will confiscate your DS and you will need to buy another.

Nah, you can't get Nintendogs if you're an adult. I just couldn't play with my puppy Petey enough, I'd set him aside for weeks or months and when I came back he was all dirty and hungry and thirsty . . . it made me feel too guilty! I feel bad enough about not walking my real dogs - I don't need an adorable virtual dog too.
Thought I did . . . wound up putting him up for adoption (i.e. selling the game on Ebay).

I think Cooking Mama 2 is kinda fun. It may seem a little fruity, since you cook a bunch of different foods, but it's surprisingly an entertaining game that makes good use of the DS stylus and see how all these yummy foods are prepared. Jewel quest is also kinda neat... it's like an RPG puzzle game and you do the puzzles as small stages so it doesn't take too long to complete one.
