Well, this is just a thought that i wanted to share with all the guitar hero freaks (Like myself so dont get your panties in a bundle) and ds nerds (Sadly im also one too. . .)
Well we all know that guitar hero is coming out for the DS. But well, the ds is different than most consoles, as you can tell. Its portable, a touch screen, can use both game slots for one game. Oh yeah theres also that mic which hardly any game uses!
Now since their making guitar hero 4 with a mic guitar bass and drums, well, why not give the DS a little head start? the DS could have included mic with barely and trouble other than the notes (Or pitches i guess) for each song. Well i dont know much about tech stuff so ill leave that to you guys. But if you think about it ever further, the DS is capable of well, all four of those instruments! So why not make patches to allow those to be instruments on wi-fi, and when you DO go on wi-fi, it would load the song from a database, rather than your DS cartridge, so that you can play that song with any instrument. Like a DS Demo.

Guitar Hero for DS should not and will not have any mic features. And all the mic features are mostly used for WiFi multiplayer games. Guitar Hero should just stick to guitar simulation.

Thats all it can really do, besides using a headset and talking to someone via WiFi, also if you don't have a headset you can whisper into it to speak to someone.

I think that Guitar Hero: On Tour is going to be much easier then the real thing, because it has only 4 buttons. Also Drums on DS would be weird, the only way I can think of playing drums on DS is using the touch screen to bang on the screen. As for Vocals you would need a headset to get it to work ok.

no, thats not why it would be easy. its because when they do massive hammer-on and pull-off solos, all you gotta do is strum with your pinky and go crazy
