Zelda Four Swords

Ok, so me and my housemates want to buy this so we can do the multiplayer thing. Is it as simple as just owning four controllers, or is there more to it?

To play multiplayer with 2-4 friends you need:

2-4 Gamecube GBA cables

and

2-4 Game Boy Advances (or SP's)

I'm bringing this thread back to life because we want to do this. Has anyone played four swords with four people, if so, how ace is it and how much am I looking at spending in £££ and the best place to buy all this stuff.
