Ive upgraded every character including ms mowz and still have like 12 shine sprites left is there anything else i can do with them?

Yes, you have to talk to merlins who will mention a item later on. This item is found in Hooktails castle. When you get Bobbery, blow up the wall to get this item.

You MUST talk to merlins to trigger the event.

where the item is where the key was for the black box. you go in the room where the key was and go all the way to the wall and use the bomb to blow up the crack
