I don't know. Unless you're a collector, I doubt you need a DVD-playing Gamecube. Does it even work in America?

I've read about these. Apparently, in the contract panasonic had with nintendo, it stated that panasonic could use the gamecube technology in a device of their own, since they made the discs for Nintendo.

They seemed a great idea, but don't look very nice.
