i've seen videos of ssbm online and wondered how it was done, i came across this site that explains how its done and was wondering if it can possibly be played online with wii(since its got wifi built in and all), it says in the tutorial that the controller must be wired? you also need to connect it to a computer which im not sure if its possible to do with the wii, and you also need a copy of phantasy star online..i wonder if any wiichat member has all of this and the time to try it out lol anyway heres the tutorial

Well, without a hack, it's impossible. If you don't somehow modify the game, it's not possible, right? I've never encountered this :/

No see they're using the Disk of Phantasy Star Online, for the Gamecube..and from there they're connecting to the Network, and then they are putting the Smashbros disk and they can play it onine
