Is Zelda WindWaker hard enough to have to buy a strategy guide?
Hi, for OoT and Majoras mask i needed a guide to beat em, those 2 games have been the only games ive ever have needed a guide for, in my whole gaming life lol.. So what im trying to say is i dont suck at games.. So do you think windwaker matches up on hard/confusing (not that the boss or w/e was hard, the hard part was knowing what to do next lol) to the other 2 N64 Zelda? Reason i ask is since i got it shipped to me from goozex today, so wanna know if i should buy a guide on ebay before it arrives, or if its easy compare to OoT/MM... Thanks for advice ahead of time.

I didn't think so, the dungeons were tough but I always just figured it out before I resorted to a guide. Wind Waker is challenging enough to be stumped on some bosses and puzzles but is easy and fun enough that you shouldn't need to resort to a guide.
I hope you have fun playing it, Wind Waker is my favorite Legend of Zelda.

fantastic game btw, i had it reserved when it was first released
i dont think you need a guide, its not quite as massive as OoT (not as many dungeons) but because it was made on the gamecube which was just more powerful of a machine it does a great job of story telling, very immersive
all around fun game, to complete the main quest you shouldnt need a guide, if you need any help just get on gamefaqs.com or something and look up a walkthrough or ask on here before you resort to droppin cash
ENJOY YOUR TIME WITH WIND WAKER!

Thanks, for the advice, i wont get a guide anymore. Yea from the sounds of it, it sounds great. I never really got into the zelda games till now, 10 years when OoT came out, i was 9 at the time and it always felt long and i quit. Now fast forward 10 years lol, im 19 and i knew i was gonna buy a wii and TP seem so great that it made wanna beat all the n64 ones, which i did back to back (Zelda Collectors edition) that now i only have WW and phantom glass? to beat before i play TP, im not gonna beat the old classics though lol. Anyways Zelda has been great and im glad i didnt skip the series. Oh btw i am gonna enjoy windwaker Sorry for the long pointless story lol.

Glad you made the right decision as buying a strat guide for a Zelda game would be like buying a football coach to tell you what plays to run in Madden.
You do it yourself and that makes the game fun.

You can always check Gamefaqs
When I played through Windwaker, I did have the strategy guide, and it greatly enhanced the experience for me. In any Zelda game, there are so many sidequests, I just want to play them all! ^_^

if your not gonna play any of the old classics thats not good! you should ATLEAST play a link to the past at some point, even if it is later on down the road and the original LoZ aint bad either

I only had to check once, which was because I was being stupid and missing the obvious. But wind waker is a lot easier then the other two that you played so you shouldn't have trouble.
