Can anyone help, my son bought 2 gamecube game for the wii, they load but the remote turns off (classic) does he need some kind of memory card as he seems to think, i dont want to buy one if not needed

To play GC games on the Wii you need GC controllers and possibly a GC memory card (if you want to save the game). With the Wii in the grey stand (on it's side) the top edge has two flaps, one hides 4 GC controller ports, the other 2 GC memory card slots.

gamecube games only work when u use gamecube remotes that the only thing i can think of to fix it. you plug it in to the top if the wii
