just got a SNES today
As the title says, I just got an SNES today.....well, actually two. I got them off ebay and have been playing Super Mario World for the last few hours. I never got an SNES when they originally came out, so I've been as excited as a ten year old on Christmas all afternoon. Now I just need to find a copy of LOZ:ALTTP.

I never really got into the Metroid games, but I may have to take another look at them. Any one have any other recommendations?

check super metroid asap
buy the doney kong country games. i didnt have a snes but most of my friends did, and it was like a must.

DONKEY KONG 1, 2, and 3. All of them are great! They need to re-make this for this Wii! The Donkey Kong series is some of the best Nintendo games ever made!

I totally agree with that statement. Hell I've been playing that game almost every year since its release. Picked up a guide to find the only heart piece I never found and found out that I did know where they all were I just forgot which ones I had gotten on each playthrough and always forgot the last one 
Anyhow some great times with:
Zelda [duh]
Super Metroid
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario World
Donkey Kong Country 1-3
Final Fantasy III
Contra 3 the alien wars
Rock n Roll Racing [god i love that game]
top gear 2, 3000
sunset riders
mega man x1-x3
Probably a few that I forgot because I liked so many of them. [i still have them all too in fact ive got 2 SNESes lol]
