SNES cartridge stuck (PAL)

I have a PAL version of the SNES an my Super Mario World cartridge is stuck. I pressed the eject button but it won't come out. Does anyone know what I should do?

Edit: Never mind. problem solved.

i would just yank it out, happened to me once wit my friendss Kirby SuperStar. lol

Edit: Doesn't work. I guess I'll have to dissect the console to see what's wrong.

I just figured out the console was "on". Well, not really on because it wasn't plugged in, but you know what I mean.

Yeah, I always just rip it out. Doesn't hurt the game at all.

i never used the eject button. and yanking out while it's still on is possible, too - not sure how safe it is though.

Does your snes look like this?

If you turn the console on, a piece of plastic blocks the cartridge making it impossible to yank it out while still on.

And I completely forgot that leading to this unnecessary thread.
