i went over to my friend's house the other day and her NES controllers were kinda funky...they had sort of a mini control stick instead of a pad... (not to be confused with the advantage..these were very small) and it had a turbo button...not sure on the name

I kind of like it, but prefer the original one. The only thing that's really good about the NES Max, is that it is ergonomically better.

i dl that off of VC also (see my sig) and it probably one of my most played games by far
very addictive and it gets pretty intense, i beat it on junior and college but havent tried pro yet, once u get the hang of it you can rack up 20+ points on the computer, playing w/ friends is a blast though

Remeber it, I still use it today to mix it up on some games, rarely use the cheat options but the zero gravity, high speed, and things like that keep it intresting.
