Where to buy NES/SNES Games?
Every few years or so, I pull out my SNES and play some of my favorite oldies. This most recent time, it wouldn't work anymore. So, I went out and got myself a RetroDuo. Plays SNES and NES. Now my ? is, does anyone know where to find games reasonably priced? eBay is great, but shipping really ruins the price. I've purchased a few games in bulk, but it still wasn't really worth it. There aren't many pawnshops or garage sales around here, and the only store that sells old games has em marked way up. So I need an online store or maybe a franchise that's all around the country where I can buy some nostalgic goodies. Any comments are greatly appreciated.

I've bought most of my games on ebay. Where do you live? There are some stores that do sell old school games. There's one up the street from me that I check once in awhile.

I live in LA, which I've found to be the worst place to collect old school games. There are no popoular thrift stores(or any) and there are 2 stores that sell oldies. Gamedude which has em way marked up, absolutely not worth it. Then theres playntrade, a great franchise, but the games are pretty expensive there to. I believe the minimum for NES games is somewhere around 14$, which is the majority. Guess I'll have to stick to eBay just scope out some good deals.

Hmm, that sucks. Yeah, probably ebay is your best bet with finding games at a lower price. Sorry...

There's a nice little place in downtown Morgantown, West Virginia, that has a ton of games and movies. They range from NES and GameBoy to current-gen consoles and handhelds. I bought Super Play Action Football (SNES) for a buck. Last time I was in there, they had WarioWare: Touched for $18 used. They've got a massive selection of third and fourth generation games (that's NES and SNES/Genesis, respectively) for cheap. They even buy broken hardware to use for spare parts.

Ah alright thanks a lot guys, I always read about flea markets and thrift stores and such. But as far as I know, there aren't any great ones around here. Or.. any around here... Gonna keep looking though.

I use mostly ebay, but I don't buy them if they're over $10 with shipping. Just be patient and wait for the next auction for the same game and you can score games cheap.
Went to a swap meet last weekend and picked up 2 for $10: Galaga and Blades of Steel. Not many vendors sell the older stuff though..it was mostly Wii and PS3 games at all the video game dealers.
