Intentions of Wii

I know that Wii has definetly been the real "next-gen" system. But the only way its captured this title is for its amazing innovation and new way of game play. Now i know all Wii gamers and owners are fine with the graphics but im wondering why Wii hasnt taken the next step in graphics(for nintendo), they are quite capable,

doing this no doubt they would get the title of "the next-gen system"

well wii is really "new-gen" more so but yah suxs nintendo didnt go the extra mile for graphics and leaves us with late-gen xbox graphics for the next 5 years

The reason they didnt do this was because of cost, i seriously think some people around here need to read a few more things about the wii. For instance why and how the console was made why nintendo put this in and didnt put that in etc.

Actually. nintendo did a really good job. It only costs 150 to make a wii. I forgot where I saw that info. But if they really wanted to make the graphics better, i'm pretty sure they can do that. Of course like everyone else said...$$$
