Stupid question...

When the Wii is turned on with no game or anything inside of it, what is suppose to be showing up on the tv?

.........uh oh. when i turn mine on without a CD all i get is some weird stuff on the screen. If i put a CD in before i turn it on, it works fine. I just bought it two days ago =\

Perhaps i wasn't clear. I'm talking about when the system is shut off completely with nothing in it, then turned on.

Or should the Wii Channels show up then?

Technically the warning screen should show up, telling you to hit the A button to continue, but after that yes, the Wii channels should showing.
