Dead Rising will come to the Wii the same day that Luigi is exclusive to Sony. The creators of Oblivion have said in an interview that they will not put their games on Nintendo, and Halo is a Microsoft exclusive. Do your homework before asking such a simple question.

Yes, Nintendo is allowing much more violent games. Games like GTA will soon be made for the Wii. Manhunt 2 is just the start.
As for Halo, Metroid Prime 3 will have alot of similarities.

As far as i know, the only game like (GTA) that in the Wii announced for the moment, is Scarface.
From the others.. i highly doubt it.

the possibility is increased after accepting RE4,Godfather, and Manhunt2.
And no, i don't MP3 is going to be like Halo. On the contrary, it will be very different, since the genre itself is kinda different. Unless retro screw it up, which i highly doubt, and make it more like arcade, fast-paced shooter, not like adventure.
and for oblivion, the system just can't handle it.
Although, it is possible to make an low-graphic but oblivion-like scale RPG, but looks like it's not likely. But it will be awesome.

If you are hoping for an M-rated game similar to GTA, I think "No More Heroes" is the closest you're gonna get, at least this year. I can't wait for this one. Follow this link to the game page on IGN:

As far as MP3 being like Halo, I wouldn't go that far, but I've heard MP3 will be more action-oriented than 1 & 2 and have a multiplayer mode. Hopefully it will include online play. |

nintendo wont go to far from there games.. although they have had some mature games... i still play conkers bad fur day all the time on n64.. funniest game for that system... i doubt leisure suit larry will hit the Wii though..lol but if playstation continues to fall then Wii will probably snatch up some more of the "mature" titles just for sales and to compete with xbox... i wouldnt expect it anytime soon but in the next 6-9 months when they get a feel for where each console stands.. if Wii is still doing good they will toss some money for some good 3rd party games...

I'm pretty sure that I read in my Ninty Power that MP3 will go in the same direction as MP:H. That is to say, more actiony because of the new controls.
