Ugh...Why do you people ask this at a Wii forum? Everybody is obviously going to say that its worth it because they own them. There isn't going to be many people that go around on a Wii forum that don't like Wii's.

Thankyou for all the replies.
I am thinking about going and purchasing one today or asap.
I know this is a Wii Forum, therefore most people on here would own one.
However, some on here seem to have a couple of problems.
Or, some people may be on here to complain... you never know.
Thankyou for your replies once again.
Any other information i may need, will be appreciated.

err well i got my wii the first day it came out for 220 pounds, with this i got wii, wii sports, nunchuck, controller, Zelda TP ect. I also went out a couple of weeks later and bought wii play which i got an extra contorller in with it, this was just for 30 pounds from HMV.
Overall i think the Wii is really worth it, its cheaper compared to the other platforms and the VC downloads is great for players who want to play the old zelda, mario games ect. I would give it 9 out of 10. I think it is BRILL!
Also if your still looking for a wii, check game every now and then and also check amazon, they should get a few in soon!

I know most of you on here will say it is worth it, but i would like to know:
- Is there any problems with the console (or acessories)?
- Rating out of 10.
- Cost of the console (and does it include any extras & where can i buy from).
Thankyou.

-Nothing from the norm
-7.5/10, its a system for the next 5 years and its suited for now more so, not the future. (speaking specs wise) you might love the motion control or not dig it, try playing it a lot at a friends house to decide if you like classic or that, it dosent have online yet but when it dose get online its not going to be anything to hoot about, if you like nintendo games then thats always a + since a lot of its key titles are the ninty ones, no games out right now worth buying it (unless you cant wait any longer for zelda) so i suggest waiting till you buy it, its great for social get-togethers and for anyone to play

A wiimote is £30 and a Numchuck is about £12
Heres what you should buy
Wii Console with free Wii Sports Game(£180ish)
Wii Play with wiimote (£35)
Wii Points Card (if you want to buy classic games) (£15)
Some games such as Zelda, Call of Duty 3, warioware or Need for Speed Carbon £30 to £40 each)

Yeah If I was you phone Woolworths this afternoon. Not to busy on a Sunday either so they might have one in stock. And they will let you presale it (means you have to pick it up same day as presale)
