Availability in the UK?

Now that the PS3 is launched here and apparently quite available (Amazon has them in stock, ready to deliver as we speak) what does availability look like for the Wii?

I have noticed that it still does not appear to be freely available. Is this just in my area or is it across the UK? I would have expected by now that demand would have leveled out but it still seems to be limited.

On a similar note have any sales figures been released yet for the UK?
