According to an article Bloomberg.com, Yoshihiro Mori (Nintendos senior MD) was quoted as saying that "the player won't cost more than 25,000 yen".

That equates to roughly ~$223 / ~£119

So that ties in with the other reports regarding the wii price, still no official confirmation but i think this is pretty much a guaranteed price range.

I'm more concerned about the launch date. I've heard everything from August to Thanksgiving to closer to right before xmas.

actually a lot of the launch games for wii have been slated for october, so it will b=probably be closer to thanksgiving.

the uk gov are a load of (words deleted not shure if i can sware on here) they will chare vat on top (+17.5%) and add some money to go in there bak pokets so where looking at about £150+
