Man this is incredible, just asking what do you guys think is going to happen once the effect starts this may!!! Nintendo is starting to have a great year, (Even though they've been having a great year, its about to get better) who knows they might start to have the games that come on the 360 and PS3 such as Oblivion, and Xenosaga series which i believe is most definitly coming to the wii, just asking for your opinions, [and]

I just want my SSBB with FLAWLESS LOBBY-TYPE ONLINE PLAY.
If I get that, the Wii will have an endless price value for me.

And with this potential success, gamespy better get it's butt in gear.
GIVE ME AN AMAZING ONLINE EXPERIENCE, GAMESPY.

Don't get too ahead of yourself, this is just one company. One company who I could give a damn about at that.

Like the above posters say we will never get Oblivion. If by an odd chance we do, it'll totally suck when compared to the 360 and Ps3 versions and probably be the a port of the PSP game, lol.

BTW no one said Monolith made Oblivion, Rahtner.

I think you may be confusing them with Monolith Productions, but they had nothing to do with Oblivion either (correct me if I'm wrong). Monolith productions developed F.E.A.R and Condemned.

To sum up:

Monolith Soft= japanese developers now owned by Nintendo

Monolith Prod.= american developer NOT own by Nintendo

Oblivion= developed by Bethesda
Monolith Soft, Is Monolith Productions, and there might be a slight chance we will see oblivion, but i know we will see F.E.A.R, and Matrix Online!!
and if you dont believe me Rahnter, go to:

Yuppppp
the wireless reciever in the wii is def. poor, since it would have boosted the price up if it was a gaming one (like the $90 360 one)

Here is a quote from the site you gave me:

"Now a little clarification might be in order due to the fact that there is more than one development house with the name Monolith. Monolith, the American company, known as Monolith Productions, is known for F.E.A.R and The Matrix Online. The one purchased by Nintendo is known for Baten Kaitos, Xenosaga, and the upcoming Disaster: Day of Crisis for the Wii."

There are two companies one Monolith Soft, the other Monolith Productions.

I edited my previous post because it was brought to my attention that you did not assume that Oblivion was made by Monolith.

Are you yanking my chain now?! I did look at that site, it was in your previous post. I took the quote directly from that site. Reread it and look at the comments at the bottom of the page...

No worries... felt like I was in the twilight zone for a moment

I'm rather excited about this news. Seeing as how Monolith Soft was formed from Square Soft developers, I can't help but assume that the Wii will be receiving some quality JRPGs. Since we're on the subject of RPG developers, I was thinking how motion controls could be incorporated into the battle system of a traditional JRPG (i.e. turn-based). I think if the battles included special moves ala The Legend of the Dragoon (PS1), where you had to time button presses to perform the action, and the Wiimote was used in a similar way as the stylus is used in Elite Beat it may work out well. In other works, special moves require either the use of specific movement and/or point'n'click. ... meh, just an idea.
