In wii bowling....?

In the video in the presentation, when the person is showins us wii bowling, he actaully does the motion to bowl, was he just doing that or do u really need to.. also in monkeyball, the video shows the girl moving the remote left/right, is the ball actually moving b/c of her moving /eft/right or is it on the controller she is move the analog left/right?

The Wii senses what the controller is doing, it has a motion sensor attached which can tell when your 'bowling' or moving the controller left to right.

ooo so in monkey, when she is moving the controller left and right.. she isnt just doing it, the game is actually doing it??? so the sensor knows its moving left and in the game the ball will move left?
