Nintendo Wii Breakdown--The Answer for Nintendo Newbies!

I am the director of a senior center, and the Wii has become the hit of the center. We have two of them that are constantly used. I am planning a Wii Bowling tournament and am looking for suggestions/ideas on how to organize.

My son purchased a Wii and the 2K8 game. We can not get the 2nd player controller to come up on the game.

Is the S cable the same as the rf cable used for all the other systems or is it different? For some reason I can hear sound on the tv but get just a blue pic.

Everytime I'd gone to EB Games to get a Wii they were sold out. It's not their fault they're everybody's go-to for gaming, though, so that's to be expected. I ended up getting mine from Toys R Us, and even then it was one of only two left (and the guy in line behind me bought the last one!)

As in turning on? No..check to see if everything is plugged in properly, then maybe call Nintendo or the store you bought it from to tell them that it's not powering up if connection to the wall socket isn't the problem. If you bought it used the store should replace it immediately as long as you have reciept, if it was new then they'll probably refer you to Nintendo customer service.

No RF is different and old.

You need to use the cable that came with the Wii.

S-Video cable is newer-ish does video only... you still need seperate cables for audio,,,
