Hi Guys, I am a 51 year old new wii user. Unfortunately after asking for a PAL version I was sold a NTSC console. Is there some software available that can convert the console as the store will not take it back ?

From everything I've read, no. How long have you had it? At least in the US, we have 30 days return policies on almost everything.
Do you live in a PAL region? I'd make a point of the fact that you asked for a PAL unit. I didn't know there were regions where you could choose what version you want to buy.

Hi I just bought a Wii for my grandson and I know nothing about it It comes with one controller and 5 sports games so I bought a game called Super smash Bros. brawl , My questions are do I need a different kind of controller to play this game and do I need to buy a charger for the Wii and can you help me out with anything else that is important for me to know, as you may have guessed I don't no anything and need to know what it takes to get it going.

The games that you've bought do not require another controller, you should be fine just using the Wiimote and nunchuck controller. But for Super Smash Brothers Brawl, there is an option to use a Nintendo Gamecube Controller, or a Wii Classic Controller. These are merely options, and are not necessary.

sorry using a new toy called Dragon naturally speaking preferred 10 trying to train it to write. The question I was asking is, why does the system have two USB ports
