My forecast channel has suddenly stopped working. On the wii menu it says latest information not available and when i try to download it says cannot download latest update and then gives a link back to the wii menu.

News channel and everybody votes are fine.

Anyone else have this problem

I had a similar problem except I was trying to access it at like 2am; I'm pretty sure that it's 24 hour coverage though. So I turned it off for a while, and the next day it's working fine.

I don't use the news and forecast channels. I only use the internet channel. I bet something went wrong with Nintendo. They probably shut it down early so less people would have to wait. Just my idea.

Yes It is a 24 hour service.

It seems there are several threads describing the same problem. Mine had the news and weather channels down the other night while the internet was still working.

i had it yesterday it means you have to update it because the wii hasnt got all of the current round the world information (bit obvious but hey)
