..........just ordered a wi fi connector yesterday and now i realised and i'm wondering if my computer downstairs would connect to my wii upstairs , can anyone help me out ??

main floor works best..if you have an upstairs...

my house

3rd Floor(ds wifi connector in pc)-my room and sisters
2nd Floor(nothing..)
Main Floor(router/wireless airport extreme
Basement(nothing)

and my house is all covered with the main and top floor

yh cause mine is two rooms away and usually these things go up to 100 m so it doesnt matter but i8 warn u these thing arnt that goods

If by any chance your Wi-Fi connector doesn't work, try getting a wireless rowder. They're only like $35 at Future Shop.
