Never close my topic without asking if my question is finished. I got the cord now for the dvd recorder, but when I plug the red yellow and white cords in the output 1, the video doesnt show when I turn on my Wii.

Umm the red yellow white cords are plugged into the input. I tried every output and every input and my video screen still is BLUE, meaning no video is showing.

What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to record a video? Well, if the DVD Recorder isn't connected to the monitor at all, how do you think should it make a picture appear? You have to link the DVD Player with the TV, otherwise there won't be anything to see.

Come on. You cant be this dense.
Connect it to the monitor just like anything else would with the yellow red and white cable.

Ignore any power cords they have nothing to do with it.

You need to connect the output of the dvd recorder to the monitor.

What are you talking about output of the dvd recorder? All i have with the dvd recorder is the dvd recorder, and the power plug to turn it on.

Im not going to help you if you aren't going to try yourself. If I was standing next to you right now I would have already punched you for being dumb.

On the back of the DVD recorder is a port labeled video out. This port needs to be connected to the video in on the monitor.

How else you would see whats happening on the DVD recorder? What if you wanted to use the DVD recorder to watch a movie, how would that work?

Edit: Connect it like this
Wire running between VIDEO IN on monitor and the VIDEO OUT on the DVD recorder
Wire running between the VIDEO IN on the DVD recorder and the VIDEO OUT on the Wii.
