Transfering data from one wii to another

Hi everyone,
I have been playing tiger woods golf on my friends wii for quite a while and hence have my profile and associated data on it. I have now bought my own wii and need to transfer all my data across. As far as I can tell i need an sd card (which i can take out of my digital camera?) but not sure how i do the transfer. Some posts say its simple while others talk about unzipping files on a pc etc? Any advise appreciated

I did a thread on this a while back:

I phoned nintendo helpline and asked this scenario:

I have Godfather, transfer my data to an SD card and take it to my mates who also has Godfather saved on his internal memory. Once you load the game, which memory does the Wii read?

Answer: The internal memory. So if your mate has it. He has to transfer it off his Wii so you can transfer yours on. :

So even with an SD card, it will transfer your file, not profile across. Damn Shame.

To transfer, go into wii settings and the channel is in there.
If not, you need to get the wii system update via download or any game from Mario Strikers upwards has the update built in.
