i believe you can only save game data on a wii secure digital card, but im not sure.

As long as it's SD it will work.

It will work fine. You can copy your saved games to it for a backup I guess. You can also put jpg and certain movie files on it. You can also stick mp3s files on it and select them as your music in Excite Truck. Those are the main uses for now. I'm sure there are more that I am missing.

Is the sd card just the same as the wii memory card,must be something different about it,i dont get it

it's the same thing. the only thing diffrent is the name. i guess they only do this for people that don't know that they need an sd card.
