I tried to make the original sensor bar wireless by cutting the wire and connecting the wires to a AA battery holder that holds 4 batteries. It didnt work so i tried connecting the original wires back together but it didn't work. Can someone tell me how or what i did wrong with the sensor bar?
thanks in advance.

Yea, look on the back of your sensor bar. Do you see cut wires? Good good. They shouldn't be cut.
well it turns out that i needed a minimum of 7.5 volts but i only put in 6 volts.
oh yeah thanks for the sarcasm.

A buddy just did it for me (yesterday), and it worked. But instead of to bateries, i bought a DC Power Transformer, and connected it to it.
At 6V works perfect, but the sensor bar gets hot, so i was about to test 4.5 today, but i forgot it at a friends house. So i would test tomorrow.
But before doing it, i read a lot. And the main issue could be bad soldering.
Take into consideration that the cables are very thing a fragile, and also, they are covered by a little layer of plastic that you should burn using match, not more than 20 secs, before soldering.
