USB Keyboard
Wii can use USB keyboards now! Only for Shop Channel & Writing Notes. Unfortunately the internet channel isn't compatible yet.. But hopefully soon!

So have you tried and confirmed this? I read this in another thread, but no one had actually tried it and it wasn't on the list of changes Nintendo supplied.

Guess it's about time to hook the net back up to the ol' Wii and download this update. Looks like any usb keyboard should work. It shouldn't be too long until the Wii becomes more functional with these things. If only for the hard drive and mouse support hinted at for the future update.

Yeah, these possibilities are endless here. This is exciting. Extenal USB HDD's are pretty cheap. I wouldn't mind at all if the Wii becomes more like a PC, it certainly has the potential to be.

ZOMG thats cool! Finally I'll be able to use all of the usb flash drives I got for free, lol.(like six, lol) And a music and demo channel?!?!?!
