TV OUT = A video/Audio signal will be sent from that device. I.e. If your computer has a TV OUT socket on the video card, this means you can display video from your computer on an external device (e.g. a TV)

TV IN = Denotes Video Capture Hardware, which in simple terms means a video signal can be sent to that device.

ok, enough with all the posts. to make life real easy buy a really nice VGA converter that handles HD signals (all the way up to 1080p) anyways here is a nice one that is compatable with all three current consol http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...n-70-245o.html
It also has a switch to go from gaming to pc.

the other brand I really like is the Neoya x2vga product. there website is down (odd) but here is a picture and specs of it:

Purchase this to play games on your pc, without any lag and seemless swicthing.
