That's nearly 100$ American. There's no way that's right, considering Nintendo has said themselves that their first-party games won't exceed 50$ American...

Speculation, my friend. I've heard anywhere from 50$ to 80$. Games cost more to make on new consoles. It's like DS games. Nintendo charges 30$ for their games, but most other makers charge 35$ to 40$. It's up to the developer.

I wouldn't pay 100$ American for a new game. I just might have to give up gaming.

I can't see very many people at all paying 100$ for a new game. Not unless you're rich, anyway.

From site above:
Quote:
The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Pre-order Due for release on 25/12/2006
our price: £49.99 Delivered
Probably a guess at the price (if they get people to buy them for that price they won't lose money when the final price is announced)
it does include shipping (though i don't know what that usually runs in the uk)

Stop freaking out everyone. Has Nintendo confirmed that games will cost £50? No. So calm down. Anyway since when has Play.com being the website which is best for Nintendo news?

it won't cost £50 for a game as said before it's nothing more than a guess, and if that is too much for you find out if the wii is mutli-region and order your games from the US for less ($50=roughly £30)
