wii problem i think?

hi i turned my wii on yesturday and as i clicked on wii play i got a error message telling me to turn the computer off and eject the disk and to check the wii manual. as anyone had the same trouble.

all i did was to turn the computer on and off and it was ok. but the manual said to check the disk for scratches and dirt, and to disconnect the power supply, have done that and everythin seem ok. but i was wondering is this bad cud the computer be on its way out.

I doubt it very much! Maybe the laser reader needs cleaning if you have been using it a lot. Buy a lense cleaner and run it... I am sure it will be fine though. If it constantly does it then there may be a problem with the laser... if so as I suggested, try cleaning it!
