Hello everyone, im new to the forum so, Hello!

Just a quick question i would like to post, maybe other ppl had the same problem..
I bought gamecube game "sonic the hedgehog" today, and was gonna play it on my Wii, I also had to buy the standard controller... so i plugged the controller to the Wii remote, loaded dvd and then the screen came up, asking me to press START button, i keep pressing it but nothing happens.
I checked following
Remote - works - communicates with Wii, all the way until "gamecube" screen comes up
Standard Controller - works - joysticks move the cursor on main screen, before "gamecube" screen comes up,
After the "Gamecube" screen comes out they both cecome totally unresponsive...
Have anyone had the same problem with Sonic, or any other Gamecube games? Let me know,

Gotta have a Gamecube controller for Gamecube games, the Wii basically becomes a Gamecube when you start a GC disc. The Classic Controller is for Virtual Console games, and any Wii games that may come out allowing it's usage. Welcome to the forum!

Yep, you need to purchase a Gamecube controller.
