I am not actually too sure about that one, but since its just a code and not the actual software, it should work. Hopefully.

Unfortunately I am just guessing here, so I am not too sure myself. You may want to get another opinion before you go out and purchase a whole lot of them, only to find out that they don't work.

I emailed codestorm about this a few months back and they told me it wouldn't work. They said the code numbers would not be valid over here.

Nintendo has seperate wi-fi areas for different countries. American wii points WILL NOT WORK on a European console.

No, it will just say "incorrect code" or something of that nature.

it says at the back of the package that if you buy a US card can only be used in US or Canada
so its really a thing of reading the label
call nintendo for a refund
(you might need your receipt)
