Default Does your Wii stand scratch your Wii console?

Do the rubber grip points on your Wii stand scratch your Wii console? I have only had my Wii for a few days and I have already noticed there are scratches at the contact points.

I have no idea how in the world you would get scratchs from the base, it doesn't look possible to me :/

buy a new case from decalgirl.com for your wii, comes with a new stand i think so if ur stand is defective it solves both problems, and you have a nice platinum/black wii!

No, I don't see how it can really if used properly it shouldn't.
Maybe I am wrong, but I have yet to have this problem, along with other members.
You must be doing something wrong.

Well I never use my stand (it looks weird to me) but from the looks of it, it doesn't seem possible. Unless you insert it incorrectly.

Default Laid down or on stand?

I think i read in the manual that you can have your Wii laid down instead of having it in the stand. Does anyone have it laid down?

hm ...actually there is no serious reason (as over heat, bad airflow) in matter why do they put Wii stand in the Wii's box.I think is ergonomic besides i found Wii stand really cool, of course with the stand, seems to have better airflow as i saw yestersay and Wii has air (i suppose) holes bellow..but i set it lay down horizontally because there is no much space above ....if i could, i would use 100% the awesome stand.

Our Wii lays down as well. I can tuck it away in the entertainment cabinet this way. Otherwise if it's upright, it won't fit.

Yeah definitely, the stand is so big and grey that it messes up the sexy look of the white console.
