Why is it called Wii everywhere? Personally i prefer the name Revolution but it is the console that matters!!!!!!! Wii is a stupid name though

I too thought "Wii" was a stupid name, infact when i first heard it i really thought "Why is Nintendo trying to destroy the kingdom they have made?" but within a week or two the name really grew on me and now I really like it.

they are not going to to change the name the will stay with wii. at first I also tought it whas a crappy name but I got used to wii even though I liked revolution better.

woohoo how can you guys be so nieve was the only one that saw the massive publoicity but into the the wii at e3 i dont think nintendo could afford to advertise it and get the hype up and then change it as soon as everyone has accepted it and run out of jokes
