sd card locked

I am trying to save game data to an SD card but despite trying multiple different cards they are all returning a message that the card is locked. Yes I did check the mechanical slide lock to make sure it was unlocked

and even tried formating the card but still no luck. Thanks in advance for any input

Do you have a computer or camera to try it in?

lol I was just going to say to move the little thing on the side of the card (good thing I read your whole post) I have no idea then sorry...

all the SD cards work fine in cameras and computers only the Wii doesn't seem to recognize the card as unlocked. Thought it might be a known problem but perhaps not. Thanks for the input

try just switching the SD lock slot the other way. thats what i would do...

What size is the SD card? It won't recognize anything above a 2gb card.

hmm... I never knew that... but all I have is a 2gb card so I guess I wouldn't

theres certain brands that will only work for the wii though 2
