sd card locked

I am trying to save game data to an SD card but despite trying multiple different cards they are all returning a message that the card is locked. Yes I did check the mechanical slide lock to make sure it was unlocked and even tried formating the card but still no luck. Thanks in advance for any input

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Guitar Hero III, Mario Strikers Charged, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, Sonic and the Secret Rings, My Sims, Excite Truck, Big Brain Aademy: Wii Degree, Wii Sports.

So far I haven't been overly happy with ANY. They are all so EASY! Oh well the online play with GH III and SSBB is keeping me satisfied.

all the SD cards work fine in cameras and computers only the Wii doesn't seem to recognize the card as unlocked. Thought it might be a known problem but perhaps not. Thanks for the input

try just switching the SD lock slot the other way. thats what i would do...

What size is the SD card? It won't recognize anything above a 2gb card.
