Firmware Updates...?

Will Nintendo send us Firmware updates online? I see that highly unlikely because some people don't have internet, but it would be kinda cool. Someone told me this but I don't see it likely.

Will this happen?

If they were that big of a deal, i'm sure they would send cd's with the upgrades on them. Nice thing is they can probably send the gc sized cd's with teh upgrade for cheaper shipping costs if necessary. I wouldn't worry over the upgrades though.

Yes, that's one of the main points of WiiConnect24. It allows Nintendo to transparently send firmware upgrades and patches to Wii's while they are not in use; while they're in their sleep-mode.

Yes they will definately send firmware updates to us microsoft does on XBL

Firmware updates are really mean't to patch up holes that "Hackers" might find. Take the PSP for example, homebrew city.

if wii realy does run on linux or a moded version of it then it is most likely pretty secure but i'm sure it will be pretty easy for those moders to get all there stuff up and going lol it has usb and media ports bring out the brute force lol
