My laptop will hardly get used once I get my free copy of opera (and yes I CAN get it free). I have a USB keyboard, the wii boots quicker than my laptop and my tv is 28" where as my laptop is about 14" if that!

It was fun for about 10 minutes when it was free, but I haven't touched it since. If the Wii had HD output, I would probably use it a bit more though. As it is now, the amount of scrolling that needs to be done is way too inconvenient.

I like to watch youtube and such on my TV rather then my computer.
BTW how did you guys get the browser for free ? i got mine back in May ish.. but i paid $5 for mine

The main answer to this question is.........if we DIDN'T have the internet channel........everyone would bitch about it, just like they do now concerning DVD playback and everything else. *LOL* So it doesn't really matter how much use you get out of it, the point is that it's available for those who do want it, which I think is a good deal.

It was free up until just before summer. It was a promotion for early adopters.
